How DGMS Store Works in Oman
Dear writer
Please add 6 more pages for literature review ( final reviewed document can be downloaded from order no. 00043037). Please read the document from stated order number ( I am attaching it also) and kindly avoid repeating the information which are already mentioned in the previous write up. I need also updated journals to be added ( 2006 - 2016). I have also attached a PDF which talks about automation that can be very helpful in the literature write-up
Kindly rearrange the Literature review as per the instructions of the supervisors below and follow his instructions
1) Note that information about DGMS Oman should primarily form part of the Case study chapter rather than the Literature Review chapter. In the Literature Review, you are mainly expected to discuss about research on systems in other countries.
2) try to focus your Literature Review mainly on principles and concepts that apply more generally (not just in Oman). Discuss in more detail how the DGMS system in Oman works in a separate chapter (or separate part of the Literature Review chapter) – at the end of the chapter, you can then compare the DGMS system in Oman with the kind of systems described in the textbooks or journal papers, or used in other countries. Based on that comparison (and quantitative measurements that you have collected for the DGMS system), you can then start to look for possible points for improvement in the DGMS system

How DGMS store works in Oman
In controlling the stock exchange and movement in the medical field, DGMS becomes of material as it assists in keeping all stores in control. Without control of this department, a lot would go messy. Such quality of service is required to improve for the good of the country in the medical sector (Ismaili, 2011). Introduction of the store came after a booming healthcare management store that the country could not ignore (Carol, 2013). At first, a lot of functions went unhandled at the centralized department. Most were delegated, resulting in confusions and inefficiency. They also had to set the professional standards that were best for the countries visions.
Primary functions of the store and its work was to improve the specialty programs that will ensure all stores of releasing and keeping of medical inventories are accurate. Errors leading to inefficient medical solutions needed reduction. To reduce them, they needed to check the medical warehousing store. Most regions were adopting a digitized stores of management (Greenes, 2014). Research shows that digital stores could not solve the warehousing problems all at once. What they needed was an inventory check store. The DGMS became of greater importance from then.
In doing a clean-up of the warehousing mess, a lot had to go. The laxity in medical supply reduced. Some of these were slowing the supply process. The Oman government was able to streamline logistics store by improving in the time and manner of delivery (Ismaili, 2011). Under one management, the DGMS was able to supervise and direct on efficiency of medical stores (Carol, 2013). The work was easy to achieve because other stakeholders and suppliers like manufacturers had a streamlined health care store and delivery that would be efficient when embraced. Once embraced, picking up was simpler and smoother. As they moved forward, it was easier to identify the places where there were hitches and improve them. Today, they can attest to the fact that DGMS improved their medical provision and efficiency in care. Their health department has improved significantly from this. Records are also maintained to transparent levels.
Comparison of DGMS store in Oman and other Countries
Different countries have upgraded from manual to digitized store of inventory controls in their medical store. An example is a pharmaceutical automation. It is easy to find out the robotic functions in various hospitals improving the inventory records. They help in determining the stock out of their store. Countries like United Kingdom and USA have improved their stores. Complexities of the processes have so far reduced (Greenes, 2014). These trends that are picking up worldwide will improve the store to reduce hardships noticed in management in healthcare. Robots are assigned the duty to pack medicines. Under computerised control stores, they keep direct records within intervals of time (Rashid, 2007). However, the DGMS in different countries works in a variety of ways. Compared to Oman, it is possible to find out how they differ or share in similar activities. Countries analysed here are Yemen which is a neighbour and the United Kingdom in the developed world.
