Leadership programs are important in an organization as they are used to groom future leaders who will take part in taking the company to the next level. As a multinational company, Starbucks is faced with numerous challenges in terms of leadership, as they continue to expand their operations into new regions and require leaders to oversee the operations. Therefore, establishing an entrepreneurship leader program will be a great platform for both the employees and the organization in developing leader within the company. The program is focused in enhancing the entrepreneurial leaders who will be in a better position to handle the various disruptions in the modern business world.
The entrepreneurship leader program will have to be effectively implemented to ensure the desired outcome is achieved both by the employees and the organization. Therefore, in its implementation, one of the areas of focus will be instilling the key dimensions of entrepreneurial leadership in their employee participants. Through these dimensions, the participants in the program will be taught how to adapt these key traits in their leadership roles as an entrepreneur. One of the key dimensions is that entrepreneurial leaders have to understand who they are and their need to get like-minded people to help in achieving their set goals. The second key dimension should be focusing on who before the what; this implies that the entrepreneurial leader should find a right team that will support the goals and objectives. The third dimension is based on having a clear vision for the future. This includes the entrepreneurship leader to realize what they want to do and have a vision of where they will be in future. The fourth dimension is possession of great communication skills that will be used in communicating the vision and goals to the team. The fifth dimension is adaptability which will help the entrepreneurial leader to stay focused in times of disruptions. The sixth dimension is that of continuous learning where the leaders continue to learn new skills and knowledge. The seventh dimension is that of creating a conducive atmosphere for growth for other team members (Purple Crest).
