As a result of large scale immigration to America from different countries, this led to the process of diversifying the population since the majority of the immigrants were from the northern and Western Europe thus America today is an ethnically and racially diverse country.
This research is intended to establish the understanding of the American cross culture competence which refers to the ability to effectively compete with people of different cultures that are in terms of resources, non-profit organizations and government agencies which enable employees to meet different persons from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. Cross culture competence we look at four major parts that is awareness of one’s culture worldview which refers to the way one thinks or views other people who are different. Attitude is another factor that affects cross culture competence, this happens in that; people become biased to other cultural practices. Finally, knowledge and skills are the other factors that affect cross cultural competence since they lead to perfection which is a hindrance
Healing and Wellness
Healing traditions in America are very diverse and as old as human diversity and this can be largely attributed to the isolated cultural evolutionary processes which have led to a health awareness need. There has been a growing interest in the recent years regarding the impact of the spirit and ability of one to heal spiritually, as well as getting to know one’s body, mind and spirit principles. An environment which is health allows peaceful co-existence in every aspect of life therefore bringing about perfect health and wellness.
