Grace Kelly got married to the Prince of Monaco in the year 1959. Up to date, the wedding is considered to have the most dreamy and stylish wedding on record. The most remembered thing about the wedding is the bride's wedding gown. The dress has remained famous across the world and continues to inspire the creation of different models of wedding dresses. The wedding dress was designed by Helen Rose, who was a worker MGM wardrobe department. The dress is known to have used a fabric of more than 400 yards and 125-year old Brussels lace. In addition, the dress was broken down into ten pieces, where each of the pieces was made individually. The Skirt made of ivory faille consisted of three petticoats: the ruffled, smoothing, and the foundation petticoat. The lace bodice had a slip, and the gown used 100yards of silk net to make. Besides, there was an underbodice and Skirt support. The veil was made of lightweight netting and was about 90 yards long. It was created to reveal as much of her face as possible. A Juliet cap was used to hold the veil in place. The headpiece was decorated with orange blossoms, lace, and jewels.
