One of the fundamental factors that affect the performance of any organization are the employees. The performance of the employees is what moves companies to be where they are and power them to where they wish to go. Looking at the two organizations under study, it is clear that they treat their employees differently. While one is ready and willing to work and partner with its workforce, the other is using its influence to try and motivate its workers to enhance their productivity. One thing that can be used to help motivate employees is wages. When the efforts of an organization’s employees are recognized and rewarded with increases in their salaries, the effect is that productivity will increase. Employees do want to feel seen, and when the environment they are in allows them to thrive, their productivity will automatically increase. Looking at the two organizations under review, it is clear that each is ready to enhance the productivity of their employees. However, the approach appears a little different. Amazon, on the other hand, is working from a political angle and even though it is not clear, there seems to be some political pressure behind its move.
