SHARED OBJECTIVE
With this assignment we are hoping to get a better understanding of how leaders got to where they are today. We are trying to understand their personality traits, as well as which actions or steps they took to get into their leadership role. We chose Sheryl Sandberg, because we want to explore female leadership in particular. We are also trying to improve our ability to work as a team. Leaders play an important role in the growth of organizations and company staff. These are people who are very influential in decision making, progress and, most of all, developing strategies, processes or innovations. The leadership trait we focus on to facilitate discussion is the innovative leader. To further narrow the debate, we are going to study these in “Sheryl Sandberg," one of the top female leaders of the modern era. She's now affecting COO on Facebook in various ways. In our discussions, it is important to know that we will identify some of the leaders who refer to the real world that may or may not support our debate. Although we are not studying all the characteristics in depth, we should focus on the key features of vision, charisma, influence, power-housing, public interest and social impact.

Sheryl Sandburg is a woman who wields influence in the industry with a variety of titles, including American technology directors, activists, and best-selling author of Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead and billionaires. Born in 1969, Sheryl Sandberg grew up in Miami, and after a stellar record at school, moved to Harvard in 1987 to pursue a degree in economics. During her years in Harvard, she co-founded an initiative titled ‘Women in Economics and Government’. Later, she became a successful businesswoman, former Google executive and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Facebook since 2008 is one of the very few women who has forayed into the male-dominated corporate world and left an indelible mark.
