Understanding the relationship between a patient's circumstances in relation to creating a treatment plan is essential for any healthcare provider. It allows him to better appreciate the necessities of the patient and create a holistic treatment method for the patient. Accordingly, when creating a "personalized treatment plan," the pieces of evidence that I would consider include the patient's health history, standardized metrics, and his personal and social circumstances, among others.
First, I would consider his health history in prescribing medication since this information could suggest the antipsychotic drugs' possible effectivity. In one study done by Yoshida and Müller (2019), the authors noted that specific genes influence the effectiveness of antipsychotic medications for some patients since they can lead to differences in drug metabolism, uptake, and even targeting, among others.
