Organizational Culture and Readiness Assessment

Research Paper Instructions:

My preferred writer is # 00122336. I would like this paper to be tailored to my place of work -- Jacobs Medical Center at UC San Diego Health. Below I have pasted the instructions for the assignment, and I attached the rubric. I also have resource links down at the bottom. Feel free to text me if you need to. The instructions are:
"Before making a case for an evidence-based project, it is essential to understand the culture of the organization in order to begin assessing its readiness for EBP implementation.
Complete an assessment of your clinical practice site using questions from the samples in the Week 1 Bb folder, “Organizational Culture and Readiness for System-Wide Integration of EBP Survey,” “EBP Beliefs,” and “EBP Implementation Scale.” Use as many questions from these samples to accurately assess readiness for change in your organization. You will use personal reflection of your experience in the clinical setting. The setting may be your job site or a student clinical placement.
Develop an analysis summary of at least 250 words from the results of your questions addressing your organization’s readiness level, possible project barriers and facilitators, as well as how to integrate clinical inquiry. Make sure to include the rationale for your answers on the questionnaire, incorporating details and examples. Also, explain how to integrate more clinical inquiry into the organization, providing strategies that strengthen the organization’s weaker areas. The actual questionnaire results do not need to be included.
The grading guidelines for this assignment are in the rubric. Upon receiving feedback from the instructor, revise Section A: Organizational Culture and Readiness Assessment for your final paper submission. This will be a continuous process throughout the course for each section."

Section A: Organizational Culture and Readiness Assessment
1.0 Readiness level
Based on the readiness assessment checklist outcome, Jacobs Medical Center at UC San Diego scored 10 out of 12. The high readiness score suggests organizational readiness for the implementation of TeamSTEPPS. The institutional readiness includes leadership, staff and resource readiness for implementation of teamwork and safety culture change. The institution is ready for TeamSTEPPS implementation given a clearly defined clinical problem and sufficient information supporting the endeavour, e.g., the adverse events and near-miss reports. Teamwork and safety culture is an important and appropriate strategy for TeamSTEPPS implementation success (Keller, 2018). Indeed, teamwork and patient safety have been identified as key initiatives at the institution. Subsequently, communication and collaboration skills are essential for a safe work environment. The readiness assessment results showed that now is the opportune time for implementing the culture change since there are no parallel change initiatives. The institution is ready and willing to embrace culture and process change to enhance collaboration and workplace safety. Besides, the institutional leadership has expressed a willingness to support culture change and TeamSTEPPS implementation efforts. Management support is essential for implementing the change initiative since leaders understand the program requirements from a policy perspective (Umebayashi, 2015).
2.0 Project barriers
The readiness assessment score revealed the leadership and staff's readiness and willingness to support the culture change initiative. The first barrier is the leadership's unwillingness to allow staff members sufficient time for training, preparation and program enhancement. Still, team members lack the requisite knowledge and expertise in data collection and analysis.
TeamSTEPPS implementation requires sufficient time. Based on the assessment, the institution is ready to devote adequate time to train and prepare instructors.
Program instructors require a 2.5 day off for training and overall preparation. Besides, team members should understand program fundamentals. The institution is ready and willing to allocate time for personnel training (Godlock, Christiansen & Feider, 2016). However, the personnel department is ill-equipped to allow working in shifts. Thus understaffing is a key barrier that must address to eliminate disruptions and schedule problems. Still, Jacobs Medical Center will allow time and flexibility for instructors to prepare and customize the TeamSTEPPS course material. Material customization and follow-up coaching ensure continuous learning while enhancing teamwork and workplace safety (Ajami et al., 2011). The institution will allow sufficient time for content customization to allow instructors time to develop supplemental and interchangeable TeamSTEPPS training content
3.0 Project facilitators
The successful implementation of the TeamSTEPPS requires that f...
