Obesity is one of the diseases that is associated with living a sedentary life. The intervention in this case is designed to help reduce the level of sedentary life and the screen time among the children aged 13 years and younger (The Community Guide, 2016). The intervention, other just reducing the on screen time, increased physical activities, improved diet and maintaining a healthy body weight. This thus calls for behavior change and self-management skills for the children through class based education, coaching or counselling, family based or tracking. The intervention can either be high or low intensity.
