Methods of data collection greatly impact the outcomes of a procedure, a practice or a research. Data collection methods that lead to a particular significant impact and contain a number of evaluations vary in many ways. The quantitative data collection strategies that will be used in the program are experimental and clinical trials, observation, records of well-detailed events, relevant archived information from other management information systems and administration of surveys, in form of closed-ended questions (Jensenius, 2017). Experimental and clinical trials will be used because of their certainty in storage of recorded information. The method of observation will be used for strategic data collection because the information collected through observation is realistic and typical. Finally, the use of recorded information in the information systems will be figuratively perfect for reference of past crises and errors made in the health care environment.
The types of evaluation to be used in this project are formative evaluation, implementation evaluation and outcome evaluation. These methods of evaluation will be applied to determine if the project activities are under close and reviewed implementation and in accordance to the intended purpose and resulted outputs. Formative evaluation will be used in the beginning during the creation of a new project. This method will be used to measure the extent to which the program’s outcomes will be achieved in the sense that it evaluates the goals of the project and determines whether the specific elements of the proposed solution are actual requirements with an understood performance or not (Weston, 2016). Secondly, the process evaluation method will be used because of its perfect determination of the actual working of the project, the extent of its implementation, the accessibility and acceptability of the program. Thirdly, outcome evaluation will be used to measure the degree to which the program will be having an important impact on the behavior of the target population.
The reliability of the outcomes will be measured using the test-retest reliability method. This method will be used to measure the consistency of the project over time. Therefore, to measure the reliability of the program using the method, a number of results will be captured three times in three different near-miss events.
