I need a research paper exploring factors that are related or influence to postpartum depression. I also need to have a linking with a nurse theorist, I wanted to do Reva Mercer Rubin (theory of maternal identity), suggesting that the mothers who don't adapt well to the process are the ones more likely to suffer from postpartum depression. My population is women of childbearing age first-time moms in central west Florida hospital in a small community hospital. My tool used would be the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale done prior to delivery as well as after delivery.
