PICOT STATEMENTPICOT Statement: Effectiveness Of The Medication

Research Paper Instructions:

Details:
Review the Topic Materials and the work completed in to formulate a PICOT statement for your project.
A PICOT starts with a designated patient population in a particular clinical area and identifies clinical problems or issues that arise from clinical care. The intervention should be an independent, specified nursing change intervention. The intervention cannot require a provider prescription. Include a comparison to a patient population not currently receiving the intervention, and specify the timeframe needed to implement the change process.
Formulate a PICOT statement using the PICOT format provided in the assigned readings. The PICOT statement will provide a framework for your capstone project.
In a paper of 500-750 words, clearly identify the clinical problem and how it can result in a positive patient outcome.
Make sure to address the following on the PICOT statement:
Evidence-Based Solution
Nursing Intervention
Patient Care
Health Care Agency
Nursing Practice
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is not required
I will upload the 8 references that i have already used in a previous paper that must be used for this paper as well, and an example of the format that is expected along with what my PICOT statement is if it needs to be revised please do so so long as it is the same topic.

PICOT Statement Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation PICOT Statement Diabetes has been a significant issue in today's society. The problem not only affects the patients of diabetes but also affects their families negatively. The effectiveness of how well the disease is managed depends on the patient's ability to follow the medication instructions. Many of the patients do not have medical education, and therefore, it becomes so hard for them to follow the medication instructions as instructed. As a chronic illness, diabetes weighs heavily not only on the affected individuals but also the community at large (Gonzalez, Tanenbaum, & Commissariat, 2016). Many of the scholars have devoted their time and energy to research how well the condition can be managed. The proposed research is on how the effectiveness of the medication can be improved by giving the patients’ medical education based on how they can follow the therapy effectively. Educating the patients will help them to follow the prescription and the treatment correctly which will, in turn, reduce the burden on the patient's families. Evidence-Based Solution The objective of the evidence-based practice is to ensure that our patients and their families enjoy cost-effective and safe outcomes of the therapy. For the assertion of the evidence-based solution, the research aims at studying the effectiveness of the treatment due to patient medical education. The data needs to be collected from research studies conducted by nurses in a hospital (Vos et al., 2016). The research on the patients’ medical education will help in fine-tuning the implementation of the research results. Nursing Intervention When commencing the nursing research project, there are factors that these nurses are supposed to consider. Most importantly, nurses are at the forefront of promoting preventive healthcare seeking behaviors (Azami, 2018). The main factor should be whether doing this research will help to reduce the ineffectiveness of the therapy when the patients who are diagnosed with diabetes for the first time are given additional medical education. Also, autonomy support provided by nurses leads to improved self-care and glycemic control (Lee, 2019). The nurses are supposed to insist on providing the patients with the disease management education in addition to a proper diet. Patient Care Some of the patient care activities should be checking the blood glucose level regularly. Further, the glycemic level of the patient should be monitored periodically to ensure that there is better control. Additionally improving communication in diabetes programs should improve the management of the condition (Sohal et al., 2015). The results of the blood sugar levels should be recorded before and after the education to monitor the effectiveness of the patient medication education (Pirdehghan ...
