Homeostatic interrelationship that exists between the muscular systems and the cardiovascular system entails:
* The skeletal muscle activities that increase the efficiency of the cardiovascular functioning.
* The prevention of atherosclerosis along with some of the aspects that may cause cardiac hypertrophy(Kendra, 2016).
* The maintenance of posture and circulation of blood and other substances through the body among other functions(Marieb, 2016).
Given this, the medical illnesses that may affect the primary organ system include:
* Polymyositis
* Fibromyalgia
For the purpose of this paper, I chose Polymyositis

What are some of the functions of the cardiovascular system?
Response:
The cardiovascular system is made of the blood vessels and the heart, which are primarily divided by veins, arteries, and capillaries. The cardiovascular and respiratory system cooperates through the supply of oxygen and in the elimination of carbon dioxide(Marsh & Daphne, 2016). This this case, the cardiovascular system serves in providing rapid transport of different nutrients around the body including the elimination of waste products. The cardiovascular system therefore allows nutrients to:
* Diffuse into the system with their source (e.g. oxygen from the lungs)
