Develop a PowerPoint presentation (a title slide, 6-12 slides, and a reference slide; no larger than 2 MB) that includes the following:
1. A brief summary of the research conducted in the Evidence-Based Project – Paper on Diabetes.
2. A descriptive and reflective discussion of how the new tool or intervention may be integrated into practice that is supported by sound research.

Twenty nine million people in United States are suffering from diabetes. This is estimated to be 9.3% of the total population of the whole nation. 1.7 million People who are suffering from diabetes are said to be aged 20 years or older CITATION Nat14 \l 1033 (National Diabetes Statistics Report, 2014). 8.1 million People are said to be undiagnosed yet they are living with the disease. Diabetes has become one of the world’s greatest tragedy which most of the countries are fighting. It has no ethnic consideration as it affects anybody no matter the age nor social status of an individual. Due to its invasion technology has been advancing to help cub this killer disease. New treatment and new diagnostic mechanisms have been invented to help treat this disease. Due to the rising demand researchers have invested their witty ideas trying to find out on what could be the best way to prevent this disease and even cure the individuals who are already suffering from this disease. Latest researches have shown that there is possibility of obtaining cure in the near futureCITATION Cen15 \l 1033 (Centers for diesease control and prevention, 2015).
The latest intervention which has been made in diabetes treatment was by the diabetes health center in U.S. In their intervention as initiated by Professor Terri D’Arrigo that there has been development of medication which can help the patients who are suffering from this disease control the rate of sugar emulsification on our bodies CITATION DAr14 \l 1033 (D'Arrigo, 2014). In his research he states that this medications referred to as SGLT2 can be used to regulate the level of proteins with the body which influence the level of sugar in our bodies. The pills then can convert the protein in to a form that one can pee them out of their body.
John Buse says that this pills have an added benefits for the patients who use it. He argues that one is losing calories through urine. There is weight loss for six to twelfth month which is estimated to be 5-10 pounds. The pills are also said to control blood pressure as they lead to lose of salt within the bodies.
In association to this research there is also another intervention to treatment of diabetes. Inhaled insulin is one of the treatment which is being offered for diabetes patients.
