Health Behavior Model
A person's health behavior model is how they perceive their life in terms of health-related issues, for instance, how they feel or what their present activities and behavior will ultimately do to them. The health behavior model is one of the models that are most frequently used to understand a specific person's health behavior. This model's theories center on the idea that an individual's actions impact their physical and mental health in every part of their lives. As ideas are investigated, the likelihood that they would accurately predict the behavior of a particular group is very high.
Now, a program that can aid a particular community in fighting the disease can be developed using this belief and theories research on how a person chooses a healthy lifestyle. Depression is one of the things that is highly prevalent in the nation. By educating people about the facts and the symptoms of depression, we can motivate them to take action. As more people become aware of their appearance, the likelihood of joining the program depends on their activities and their access to such activities. For instance, one possible problem is the lack of access to mental health support and other treatment in impoverished areas (Brown et al., 2018). Additionally possible is the exposure of a population to stressors from the external environment, whether physical, emotional, or psychological in nature (Tulane University, 2020).
The spread of the aforementioned sickness and the spread of health myths prevalent in the community can be slowed down by providing the community with the correct health information to correct their incorrect views about health care. This program will be viewed from a very local perspective in the target community, from the perspective of a person who interacts and lives their daily life with others since trends in health myths across the community gain credibility when other people are doing it too.
