Research Paper Instructions:

hello, please, i have the instructions here and please follow them. the grading rubric is also included. This is a nursing literature review and who ever is writing should know what they are doing. I need 2 primary articles related to my research (PICOT) question below, i only have one and you would need you to look for the other. ( see article below). The articles should not be more than 5 years old please. It should be related to my PICOT question please!!!!!. Please , for your searches, use Proquest database, CiNahl database or any nursing data base. just let me know which ones you used. PLEASE, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND RUBRIC CAREFULLY!!!! Call me please for anything.
Literature Review
Each learner must prepare a literature review in relation to the chosen PICOT that will serve as the literary basis for the Practice Proposal. This is an opportunity to read as a scholar and develop competence in analyzing the key elements of a research article and review outcomes that reflect a heuristic process. The learner should select 2 research reports from the literature search that was conducted to justify the PICOT. Next analyze both manuscripts to consider how the purpose, methodology, results, and discussion support how your research question will add knowledge to the nursing practice. Last, write a short paper (3-5 pages in total). Include a complete citation for each manuscript. See rubric to review points that faculty will use to grade the assignment. **A 5 point deduction will be taken for each page over the maximum page limit.**

Introduction
According to Allegranzi, et al. (2016), Surgical Site Infections (SSIs) are one of the most common burdens that affect both Health care organizations and patients, when it comes to cost, morbidity, and even mortality. Unfortunately, this widespread problem which is supposedly “preventable”, becomes unpreventable due to a number of factors (e.g. improper hand hygiene). Because of this, a careful analysis of its very nature and causes should be given much attention and effective preventive measures should be sought. Thus, in relation to this study, two related studies that focused on the pre-, peri-, and post-operational measures that could prevent SSIs would be analyzed in the preceding sections of this article. More specifically, these two articles would help in operationalizing its focus in terms of the effectiveness of handwashing with enhanced nutritional support as compared to hand washing only. Their effectiveness would then be measured in the context of adults (Male, age 55) who have just undergone knee replacement surgeries, and are recuperating at the Sunrise Senior living rehabilitation center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
In terms of looking for the appropriate literature that would support this study, the author has utilized different journal databases which were dedicated to the understanding of nosocomial infections. A general search was done first using Proquest and Ebscohost in order to maximize the search output and then filters (advanced search filters), such as “nutrition”, “hand washing”, “hang hygiene”, and “SSIs” among others were utilized. Other filters such as the “date of publication” and “peer-reviewed journals” were added in order to pick the best articles for the study. Although, it is admissible that there is a lack of studies that focused on comparing “hand washing plus nutrition vs. hand washing only”, the author of this study picked these articles since the importance of both practices were comprehensively discussed in relation to SSIs.
Clinical Question
In relation to the purpose stated above, the clinical question of this study is; “In the rehabilitation center at Sunrise Senior living, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Caucasian males age 55 with knee replacement surgical wounds. How effective is hand washing versus hand washing plus nutrition in preventing infection?” In formulating this, the author of this study believe that laying out this clinical question could easily narrow down the focus of the research to nosocomial infections which are brought about by non-pharmacological and routinary activities which are usually taken-for-granted (e.g. careful obse...
