How to manage chronic foot diabetic ulcers by using vacuum-assisted closure (VAC), a negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT).The efficacy of using VAC as opposed to Advanced Moist Wound Therapy (AMWT) in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcer (DFU).After going through the abstract, my expectation was to understand the safety, cost-effectiveness, and clinical efficacy of NPWT in treating DFU. The key purpose of the study is to investigate the effectiveness and efficacy of VAC in managing diabetic foot ulcers as compared to the traditional moisturize gauze dressing. The primary focus of the research was on how to deal with diabetic foot ulcers using VAC. The rationale of the study was to focus on patients with chronic DFU. The hypothesis was that using VAC is more effective than conventional dressing. Some of the primary concepts and terms noted include ulceration physiopathology and vacuum suction tools. The literature review is provided. 
The primary objective of the study is to show the effectiveness of using VAC as compared to AMWT in managing DFU. The scope of the research was on the comparison of wound management using VAC and AMWT. The rationale of the study was to consider patients who had been subjected to VAC and AMWT.
