Existing Disparities Of The Health Issue HIV/AIDS (Research Paper Sample)

Hypothesize how the existing disparities of the health issue HIV/AIDS might be eliminated using alternative ethic principles.

Health Issues Analysis

The intent of this paper is to hypothesize on how the existing disparities associated with HIV/AIDS can be eliminated through alternative ethic approaches. Despite the intense efforts in the fight against HIV/AIDS, some populations are affected more by HIV/AIDS than others (Steele, Meléndez-Morales, Campoluci, DeLuca, & Dean, 2007). This phenomenon, where a particular group of the population is affected more as compared to others is referred to as a health disparity (CDC, 2014). In this light, HIV/AIDS disparities are influenced by social determinants such as poverty, lack of education, stigma, racism, and poverty. Based on these insights, African Americans and gay men are the groups identified to have the highest HIV/AIDS preference over the years.
