1 Interventions are actions taken by the public nurse on behalf of individuals, families, systems and communities to improve or protect the health status. Interventions are population-based if they focus on the entire population processing similar behaviors. This is done through community assessment process.
24. Public Health nursing usually calls for specialized knowledge and encompasses advocacy, community health education and multi-level collaboration (Kulbok et.al. 2012). Through the intervention plan therefore, the nurse is able to hone the practical skills while the community will also get educated on matters to do with quality healthcare and lifestyle.
2 Community partners involved in intervention programs are city health officials in cooperation with the center for disease control and prevention. Another agency is the public health office.

The goal is to identify whether the problem is measurable, the solutions attainable and relevant and the time consumed by the intervention.
Response applies to the whole community with the focus on teen parents.
