Brochure for Bilingual Families. What should we do at home to support this?

Research Paper Instructions:

PUBLIC INFORMATION BROCHURE FOR PARENT
“Your goal is to design a brochure that could provide useful information to a parent. You have been assigned one question that a parent might have about child development.”
The question I got is:
“My wife speaks Swahili, and I speak Greek. We both want our son to grow up with the opportunity to learn the languages and cultures of his parents. What should we do at home to support this? Should each parent speak to the child in their language? Should we wait until he has first learned English before starting to introduce him to another language?
As you can see, there are three question in this scenario, please choose any TWO from above to answer.
You just need to answer the question and do not need to make the brochure and I will do it and present by myself.
In order to answer the questions, you should read and use at least 3 papers on the topic and then condense this material into a format that would be EASILY accessible to a parent. You need to decide for yourself what findings are important and well supported by the literature. These main points should then be communicated in a way that is clear and substantive, but not laden with experimental details. And you have to use the articles that I have uploaded. There are 5 in total, you are allowed to use no more than 4 of them. No additional resources is required.
Note that to identify 3-5 papers you want to read and cite, you might need to read the abstracts of 10-12+ papers A good strategy is to read their work and then look at the abstract of either additional studies on the topic by this author or studies they cite (or that cite them).
The brochure should be 500 words.
Requirements:
1. Use 3-5 empirical papers that I have uploaded. An empirical paper describes one or more original studies—it is not a book, chapter, literature review or opinion article.
2. Synthesize into easily understandable, informative text (500 words).
Note* this paper should be written from educators perspective who is going to answer the question to parents, so the words shoud be easiliy understand no complex terms. I have also uploaded two examples of brochure, you can have a better understanding about what kinds of language should be used.
And the answer should be have evidence from the articles that I have uploaded, you can briefly mention that study about in simple language.
For example, for one of that question that “What should we do at home to support this?” You have to give the reasonable evidence, e.g. early exposure to second language is significant, and age matters since in one study showed that children who xxx have better brain activity xxx, and parents who spend time and quality matters, so parents should talk, reading, for their children to what extend and so on…(which requires you to paraphrase the empirical articles that I have uploaded and give the advice.)
***Moreover, one article mentions phonological, semantic etc. component of language, when you mentioned language learning, do not forget to differentiate the different component of language.
In the paper, one page for one question and please list the question and cite the evidence.
Thank you so much and stay safe, let me know if you have any questions :)

What should we do at home to support this?
The development of neural activation is significant during the early stages of child development. It is vital to consider that there is a high neural activation n as compared to the adult stage during the early stages of a child. Therefore, the earlier life language has a considerable influence on developing the neural systems for reading. Therefore, the earlier the child is introduced to the two languages (Greek and Swahili), the higher the chances of developing the neural systems of reading the two languages. Parents ought to ensure that the two languages are thought thoroughly and balanced such that in the later stages of brain development, the child will have high cognitive in both languages (Jasińska, & Petitto, 2014). To achieve this, both parents need to be close to the children but on different occasions to ensure that they develop this neural system of bilingual learning. In this essence, the child activation pattern will underlie between the two languages in the present and the future. Since there is a progressive development in the cognitive areas, the pattern will increase as the child develops in the two languages until she/he becomes proficient in both languages. Both parents can involve the child in both languages but different sessions. This is very effective considering that songs have regular patterns that are easily understandable to the child. Besides, songs have literature components incorporated, such as stylistic devices, thus making it enjoyable to the child; therefore, the child will develop an interest in learning the two languages. Furthermore, parents can play a significant role in the entertainment sector, such as watching a different television program that entails both languages differently.
Should each parent speak to the child in their language?
According to studies, a child acquires the language that she/he is exposed to during the early stages of life (Jasińska, & Petitto, 2018). Therefore, if the child is exposed to monolingual language, he/she will be proficient in that one language, but if the child is exposed to bilingual language, he/she will be proficient in both languages. In this case, both the parents need to speak to the child in their own languages to develop their neural systems to adapt to the two languages. According to the studies, a child that is exposed to two languages at the infant stage, he/ she will have higher chances of acquiring the same traits as that of their parents. In this regard, a child exposed to both languages has a high neural activation than a monolingual child (Jasinska, & Petitto, 2013). Furthermore, the child will be able to learn the two languages and distinguish between the two languages perfectly, especially during the infant stages. However, another research suggests that it doesn’t matter the stage in life in which the child ought to be introduced to the language their parents want he/she to acquire but the procedure which the parents will use for the ...
