When it comes to buying luxury cars, various people get confused since most of these vehicles are too expensive, while the others come in a limited number of colors, styles, and designs. It is always great to buy a car of choice, the one that offers world-class riding experience and comes at an affordable price. It may not be possible for you to dream of purchasing a perfect car until or unless you are familiar with the brands or car manufacturing company. According to Paolo Ferrari, Ferrari is one of the best sports car manufacturers in the world. In 1939, Enzo Ferrari founded this Italian company and built the first car one year later, in 1940. Since then, Ferrari is considered the most influential brand in the world. In 2012, its 250 GTO emerged as the most expensive and widely famous car, which was sold for over $35 million to Craig McCaw (Ferrari, 2011).
Throughout the history, Ferrari has been known for its powerful and high-speed sports cars, the ones that have been forefront in racing. Manufactured and marketed in 1947, the 125 S was the first luxury car that wore the Ferrari name. It came up with a 1.6-liter V12 engine that used to send 117 horsepower to the rear wheels through an interactive, five-speed manual transmission. The car was presented in a range of colors, and it helped Ferrari secure the first position in 1947’s Grand Prix of Rome (Beck-Burridge & Walton, 2000, p. 105). A total of 38 250 GTOs were built in the 1960s. This classic Ferrari was called Mona Lisa of the automobile industry, thanks to its magnetic body, sleek design, beautiful outlook and comprehensive features for making it possible. All of its versions collectively hold the most wonderful racing pedigree of all time. The timeless proportion and the voluptuous lines contributed to the attractiveness and overall grace of this car series (Beck-Burridge & Walton, 2000).
Embedded in Ferrari’s DNA, the mission of the company is to win the hearts of sports car lovers, and for this, Ferrari always had focused on racing innovations and cemented its reputation as the best automotive brand. It has always employed advanced technology and made the wise use of apps and equipment to ensure the provision of quality vehicles to its reputable customers. With the passage of time, Ferrari came up with innovative designs, developed its proprietary engine technology, traction control systems, lightweight yet durable carbon fiber parts, and aerodynamic designs to come up with the expectations of luxury car lovers (Masini et al., 2017).
During this journey, Ferrari had to face many problems. Other local and international brands gave it a tough competition and tried to ruin the reputation of Ferrari in the global markets by selling duplicate, low-quality Ferrari vehicles. Unlike other sports car brands, Ferrari made the wise use of the kinetic energy recovery system that contributed to its vehicles’ success and made them highly sought after. Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo recently announced that the new vehicles would be brought forward with the gasoline-electric hybrid power-trains, and state-of-the-art aerodynamics, ensuring that every customer gets only what is best and wor...
