Ai WeiWei artwork has been displayed at the prestigious art museum and other public spaces all in many countries. Ai Weiwei, a Chinese contemporary artist whose abstract artwork of The Cube Light 2008 is an installation that can be viewed at the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, DC (Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, 2018). Ai WeiWei is among the few artists in China to have revolutionized the modern art form. The cube light installation is a glass crystal with metals that occupies approximately 14 x 14 feet within the gallery (Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, 2018). The influential work of Ai WeiWei's chandelier is one of the many series acquired by the Hirshhorn Museum. This beautiful piece is important to the Chinese; it's a discreet form of expression. The giant chandelier hanging from the ceiling is made of large cubical crystals and metal tubing (Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, 2018). WeiWeis' ironic representation of his message is visible in his installation. Wei Wei is celebrated for both his creativity and activism, through art; he sheds light on several issues China like corruption (Worden, 2016). Unlike other traditional artists, Ai WeiWei is an art activist because he presents his experiences through art that can only be interpreted by those who understand his art form. His artistic expressions have been majorly influenced by the persistent struggle to highlight the suffering of his people (Worden, 2016). Most of his artwork is directly connected with the political affairs of China, especially the aftermath of the Sichuan earthquake in 2008(Worden, 2016). WeiWei made many pieces of art to commemorate those who died due to the government negligence. Critics like WeiWei believed that the Chinese government was responsible for the death of many students because the government constructed substandard houses (Ai, & Pins, 2014). His 200...
