The physical nature of the artwork
Ai Weiwei is one of the contemporary artists who used his artistic expressions to address social and political issues in China. Ai Weiwei, a Chinese contemporary artist whose abstract artwork of The Cube Light 2008 is an installation that can be viewed at the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, DC (Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, 2018).
Ai WeiWei is among the few artists in China to have revolutionized the modern art form. The cube light installation is a glass crystal with metals that occupies approximately 14 x 14 feet within the gallery (Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, 2018). The influential work of Ai WeiWei's chandelier is one of the many series acquired by the Hirshhorn Museum. This beautiful piece is important to the Chinese; it's a discreet form of expression. The cube contains small shiny crystals that form a reflection of the viewer standing outside the cube.
