Introduction
Walt Disney Company was started in the year in 1923 two brothers namely Roy O. Disney and Walt Disney in California. Having been founded several decades ago, the company has grown into an international brand and with a presence among the best global brands. Given the time the company has been around, there are interesting elements as to how it has evolved over the years. As of the current day the company has been in a position to venture into the Italian, French, Spanish, United Kingdom as well as Portuguese markets other than the American market. The company been able to set up amusement park in a number of countries across the globe ("The Disney secret to international success", 2016). One of the question that comes up, is the strategies used by the company to stay ahead of the competition and adapt to the different times and market diversity. This paper tries to establish how adapting to the different cultures in the global market has impacted it success. This is relative to the fact that the company has enjoyed massive success in the different countries despite their different cultures and social backgrounds.

The Walt Disney Company is one the of the world’s renowned entertainment platforms with over ninety years in existence and a global presence that spans several continents. The company not only prides in having movie channels and studios, but also has parks and resorts. The company has enjoyed a significant market in the broadcast television networks across the globe (Miquel, 2013). Over the years relative to the focus on the entertainment industry locally and internationally, the company is a world leader in the family entertainment, from selling toys to building amusement parks across the globe.
Of the many international strategies that the company has been able to implement and continues to innovate is the element of understanding the market that they investing in. direct investment has been one of the major strategies that the company. However it is also hinged onto the fact that, the company largely depends on making sure that they first understand the market culturally and socially to make sure that they are in line with what the customers are accustomed to and what they are comfortable with.
