Cargo gets defined as goods and products that are transported from one place to the other purposefully for commercial benefits. Such goods get conveyed using ship, the boat, aircraft, and train. Recently, the special cargo has launched news towards the air north cargo about the primary focus of air cargo security. The transport authority has introduced certain precepts that require serious screening of that cargo that are being conveyed together with the passengers. Such precepts and changes were realized to have affected the CATSA (Canadian Air Transport Security Authority) especially the Whitehorse, Edmonton, and Vancouver airports where cargo screening shall be intensive.
Precepts and the condition that were put in control are listed below, some of the most significant include a strict condition that ensures only a registered Shipper is allowed to ship the cargo. Again the cargo will only screen by the authority upon the receipt. The new regulations also specify that those cargoes that pass through CATSA will be screened thoroughly before allowing them to pass to the targeted destination. Also important to the shippers is the fact that they should possess a business number and referrals so as to confirm their credibility and relationship with shipping air cargo.
