My perspective is:
Personally I do not like the join of the new media, I believed it looks more "fashion" apparently but its superficial, or it is more acceptable by the public. However, from my perspective, I believed this kind of artwork makes the art industry become more "absurd" and it is unreasonable.
So, in this study, I want to prove that my perspective isn't subjective, its not a conclusion made by my blind guesses.

The opening of the new building the district of Meatpacking last year raised the profile of the Whitney Museum of American Art. Its exhibition of “Dreamlands” implied its capitalization of the possibilities of sites. Its work was heavily based on architecture. There is a collision between the Museum's white walls and the theater's black box in the Dreamland. The digital installations inundate the two using projections that are multicolored. This piece of work is then taken over by the sounds from the speakers that saturate the environment. The exhibit is very immersive (Jongho, 2016).
The audience is surrounded by audio tracks and screens that are numerous in number as well as the furniture. The greatest exhibit’s strength is that the audience is unable to separate one piece from another. Disparate artists are brought together to create a new thing. On top of each other, the artists are laid not forgetting taking positions that are exactly next to each other. The entire exhibition is purely the work of art.
Besides the effect of audio and visual being immersive, there is also the sense of smell. The smell of oranges is piped in. Cigarette smoke was used in the designing of the beam of lights. This does not leave behind the aesthetic value created in the museum. It is remarkable walking through the beam of lights. The extension of Dreamland is beyond audio and visual as seen in the sense of smell. As if this is not enough, the sense of touch is also put into play. This is seen with the ‘Eastern sports.'
The Dreamland exhibition explores a broad scope of techniques in the moving image. The digital technologies are used to modify the works of view regarding touch, color, music, darkness, spectacle and light. This is for expectations confounding. Through abstraction and animation, space is flattened. Then lastly there is this illusion heightened by the use of the three dimensions. The features that are captured in the works here are in the 3-D environments, installations, performance, online space, and painting. The technology here has transformed human experience.
Dreamland has left many with its sense of cinematic tradition and history. The claims of its subtitles are from the year 1905- 2016 (Mabel, 2016). The earlier years worked for the upcoming artists who were busy experimenting with immersive environments and technology. However, the television and film experimentations that were immersive were absent. It was during this era when Hollywood and television were in a tight competition. This was a challenge to Hollywood, and it, therefore, turned to experimenting with Smell-O-Vision and Cinerama. This is the most intriguing moment is when the exhibition announces the Hollywood presence in its production or works.
The exhibit would be more interesting if it were made entirely the piece of museum other than it being a piece of art or cinema. The best part of a show is one's presence. The goodness of the show is being there and being part of it because this gives first hand experience. This experience cannot be provided by the screens of computers or cell phones.
