Building a coalition helps bridge individual difference and assures survival for all. According to Bernice Johnson Regan, there is need to stretch one’s ability in establishing a coalition since it is unrealistic one will find like-minded people in all environments, that is individuals with the same ideologies and perception about all issues (Regan 4). Indeed the chance of meeting people who are like you is difficult and therefore advocate for the creation of the coalition as a way of ensuring one’s survival.
