My instructor ask me to write a evaluation report about an art piece in text book. I choose The Raft of the "Medusa" by Theodore Garicault 1819. The instructor ask the report is like my first reaction or my first impression about this piece art. The report doesn't have to be long but have to has at least 5 paragraphs. It's the instruction on syllabus: " The first evaluation report is based upon an art piece selected by you from your book. My first Impression with ThÃ©odore GÃ©ricault's The Raft of Medusa
When I first saw this piece of art I was STUNNED with how it was painted. I initially saw how detailed and vivid the picture is. Everything, from the flesh of those writhing in pain, the anger of the waves, and the stark sadness of the background, all of them are seemed to be painted with great skill and devoted with long periods of time to craft.
