The minimalism/maximalism exhibition at Museum at FIT in Paris was one of the great exhibitions I attended and still remain memorable not only because of the art but also because of the design of the museum which perfectly fits its purpose. The items presented were quality class. The colors of the dresses were persistent and irresistible. Most importantly the design and layout of the items stood out to bring the best feeling of a museum. Apart from the layout, design of the museum was also perfect in serving its purpose. However, there are some notable recommendations to make the next fashion exhibition even better. The purpose of this paper is to give an objective description of the exhibitions and give and a critique and analysis of their content and context.
Paris is globally known as the most competitive fashion capitals. The reputation is usually acquired from the great deal of genius that lived in the iconic land of wonders. According to the director of the museum Dr. Valerie Steele, it has been in existence since the 18th century to date and has featured more than 100 design objects.
