Wild Tongues and Cyborgs
In her 1986 A Cyborg Manifesto essay, Donna Haraway explores culture and technology using the concept of the cyborg as well as its implications for the future while efficiently and seamlessly initiating the literary examination of cyborgs. On the other hand, Gloria Anzaldua poses a fascinating language and evolution of an internal exposé in How to Tame a Wild Tongue. 
Donna defines the cyborg as a creature, although in a revolutionary post-gender world, lacks the understanding of bisexuality. She additionally describes it as “a pre-oedipal symbiosis, un-alienated labor, or other seductions to organic wholeness through a final appropriation of all the powers of the parts into a higher unity" (Haraway, p. 8). Besides being a cybernetic organism, she also believes it is "a hybrid of machine and organism," "a creature of lived social reality," and a "creature of fiction," (Haraway, p. 5.).
