Introduction
In answering the question “Who am I?” I will predominantly rely on my personal qualities and how they are predicated to the immediate environment around me. I can confidently declare that I am both a product of the environment combined with my innate persona. Primarily, I am quite composed in social places. In social settings such as parties, weddings, and any relatively large social gatherings I tend to be an excellent observer and listener. Surprisingly, my thoughts on the other hand, are quite many running wildly. However, in most circumstances, I keep many of the profound opinions in my mind to myself. Being sympathetic is an attribute that I also possess. I believe that there exists a significant difference between being empathetic and getting to understand the predicaments of another individual comprehensively. Besides this, I also think I have less friends and more of people that deserve my respect and those that do not deserve.
The Thought of Others
Other people’s thoughts on me rarely matter to me but to them, their thoughts are probably necessary. In my case, all that matters to me is how my closest friends and family view me. These are the people are truly concerned with my well-being and hence, I can say am obligated to take into their account their opinions. I have realized that most people have an opinion of how others should live their lives except that they are oblivious of how they should live theirs. In my opinion, considering other people’s ideas of who or what you should do provides mixed emotions to the recipient to the extent that they have much doubt in themselves. It is because of this reason that I tend to limit my social interactions with many people. In contrast, I hold deep conversations with my acquaintances and family members.
How Well the Outside Environment Defines Me
As mentioned earlier, I make myself available to very few and selected people. Those around me have to create a significant impact on my life.
