Reflection on Social Issues
Racism involves discrimination of people depending on their skin color and ethnic groups. This negative energy affects the progress of humankind economically, socially, and psychologically. I believe the genesis of all the problems the countries face globally is racism. Race determines the relationship between different countries. Similarly, race determines the relationship of people in a particular country. For example, the United States has recorded several cases of racism, probably the highest globally. The murder of George Floyd in police officers' custody is an unfortunate situation that is fresh in everybody's mind.
The black race is the most affected by racism globally. Sadly, the world gave in to racism and allowed it to control how the world function. If an African and a white person sought some service in the United States, the white person would likely get the first attention compared. This type of discrimination comes automatically in places where a certain race dominates. This sad state of affairs is dragging the world’s development progress behind.
In the world, togetherness is measured based on races. A black person will be more comfortable spending time with another black person than a white person. The same thing is true with white people. These are fruits of racism the world should resist.
