It is important to note that Cannon Inc. carried out an update on its existing products in the entry-level category. Previously, the company had produced EOS Rebel T100 also known as 4000D and the EOS Rebel SL7 also known as EOS 2000D. These two types of cameras were priced cheaply and would reckon well with a beginner photographer. However, as a way of providing improved features on its products, the company produced EOS 250D. This paper will analyze the new Cannon 250D to identify some of the ways in which the company is positioning itself against global competition from other camera manufactures.

Canon EOS 250D is one of the lightest DSLR cameras with a movable screen. The camera is a replacement to the EOS 200D. The design of the DSLR cameras is one of the major issues that has been affecting most of the camera manufacturers. They are always looking for the best way of manufacturing DSLR cameras that resonate well with the customer. As compared to the mirrorless cameras, the DSLR cameras can be gripped easily by the hand when one needs to take a photo. The EOS 250D has also been designed with the weight in mind meaning that it is probably one of the lightest and latest model of the DSLR cameras.
