The statement voices the thinking that investing in employees is an expensive and otherwise personal responsibility for every individual who seeks employment. A company would benefit from having workers with immense skills and knowledge favorable to their jobs before getting employed. However, the presence of a limit in skills needed by the job market and high increase in employees’ turnover, a company has to invest in training employees. Hence, I disagree with the statement.
The job market does not provide specific tailor-made knowledge and skills necessary for various jobs. When founders of companies envision their companies and products, one of their targets is to make their businesses stand out from others to attain a competitive edge.
