What current event did you cover?
I explored the dilemma of an employee having to wrestle with the idea of revealing her chronic illness to her employer.
What is the current state of the situation?
The conclusion or current state was that the employee is morally and ethically required to reveal her condition to her employer. However, this revelation should not in any way affect the relationship between the employer and the employee. Their closeness should continue and the employer should make the transition for the employee swift.
What new insights have you developed relating to your opinion on the significance of ethics in democracy and in leadership based on your theory of Human Nature and regarding this case study?
I have come to understand that even with ethics in democracy and leadership, there is a need for personal responsibility.
