I mainly rely on the television to access current events, and then visit the digital media to get updates. At other times, I simply look at the headlines and the top trending topics. News corporations increasingly have traditional forms of broadcasting and internet sites, where people can contribute and comment. Television focuses on domestic and international events, bringing into perspective how different matters affect Americans and people in the world. Even as there are stories that grip the nation, the stations focus on local events, but also economic and political matters. With the availability of various cable news stations, I can choose to subscribe to only specific stations.
Television combines what I can see and hear, unlike the radio, while I can access information during certain hours, but there is also breaking news. The TV stations can interview people with diverse opinion when discussing issues some being experts on the topics being discussed. Television stations increasingly provide current news content through digital media. Online forums make it easier to be updated, while accessing information with the phone or computers. Television broadcasting can reach the general public and create awareness, but y they target specific audiences who identify with the station.
