Opening remarks
This campaign am introducing to you today, seeks to address freedom of all the America citizens and of the world, in a more advanced way. Terrorism is a subject of deep concern to all the Americans and the world at large. In fact, the recent data by the New American Foundation confirms that drones have killed an estimated 3,300 al Qaeda, Taliban and other extremist operatives both in Pakistan and Yemen.
For several years, terrorism has become a nightmare for the Americans, but not anymore. We have to draw a line in the sand and declare war against terrorism. Terrorists are trying to harm American, hitting our facilities and bases. The world has witnessed many terrorist attacks in the recent past; let us not forget the September 9/11 attack. Imagine a situation where high profile targets are too far into hostile territories for our soldiers. These areas are surrounded by civilians, making air strike too risky. Such a situation is where diplomacy is difficult because remember that the enemy being targeted is not a recognized nation but individual extremists whom themselves do not abide by the existing laws and are not open for negotiation.

If we want to eliminate terrorism, let’s eliminate old technology. I want to acknowledge your concerns about people feeling that drone strikes are unjustified and unlawful use of presidential and military power. I am aware that all of you want peace and so do I. I know too that many of you seriously believe that drones would bring an end to terrorist attacks in America. The US constitution empowers the president to protect its citizen from any imminent threats. The constitution has authorized the use of the military.
Argument In Support of Drone Attacks
By using drones, we have captured and killed many terrorists in the past including Al Qaida leaders and their operations, effectively destroying extremist group’s leadership and their weapons without risking any civilian and soldier’s life. That is why drones are the tools of my choice for targeting and killing the enemy. There is no weapon out there that is100 percent accurate. However, drones are more effective because they only strike when necessary and cannot be rushed into acting. Our enemies are not nations or wear uniforms. They are people who look like civilians and hide out using enormity as their main weapon. This implies that traditional ...
