The pet industry has become a fascinating business venture in the recent past as more people, particularly young adults, embrace the culture of pet ownership. Technology and civilization also influence the industry to a great extent, and as a result there has been an emergence of many firms in the sector. Hills Pet Nutrition is an American pet company that provides food, shelter, training, and vet services for dogs and cats (Hill’s Pet, n.d.). Founded in the early 20th century by a well-known vet, Dr. Mark Morris, the firm has transitioned in several ways to become a top brand in the pet industry, clinching the World Branding Award in 2018 (World Branding Awards, n.d.). Other than the nutritional and healthcare services for pets, Hills also does a lot of research on chronic diseases, malnutrition, medication, and feeding habits with the aim of fostering the welfare of the pets. Employees' attributes, leadership qualities, and the organization's culture have significantly elevated the company’s reputation and competitive advantage to a level that makes it notable within and without the industry.
Hill's employees deserve credit for the splendid work they are doing for the company and the pets around the globe. Drawing their inspiration from the founder, Dr. Morris, the company's employees are visionary and quality-oriented, and value addition is their guiding principle. The commitment and dedication Hill’s employees have towards pets’ welfare and customer’s satisfaction is on another level.
