Pretend you are a soldier in either the First or Second World War

Other (Not Listed) Instructions:

Pretend you are a soldier in either the First or Second World War, who is writing home from the Front Lines. Feel free to explore what they might include in a letter whether they are on the front lines - or perhaps a prisoner-of-war. Discuss aspects of how the solider is feeling, what they are encountering, what they may want to know about that is going on at home (wherever you choose that to be). You should be creative and imaginative with this, however what you write should also be reflective of the times and be historically accurate.
Be sure to include specific and relevant examples to support your ideas, e.g., which front, where are you, conditions, timelines, etc. 1-2 pages double-spaced.

Oh, what a victory it was Lizzie! Had you been here we would have danced all night to that song you most love. After our victory we were rewarded with some with some fresh meat. It reminded me of the lovely steak and potatoes you cook so well for me. Remind me to ask for that first after I am home and I have kissed you and our littl...
