This paper provides a detailed illustration of how transgender is developed among human races, a character that does not just occur naturally. From the information provided herein, I have learned that Most of the people practicing Kathoey in Thailand are doing so on a commercial basis as they can manage to secure entertainment jobs in fashion shops and clubs. The development of this practice, however, leads to discrimination such that one risks losing his/her identity and the practice is considered unethical and unacceptable in society. My favorite thing about this paper is understanding how people tend to change their gender identity due to desperation for a job. For instance, people in Thailand convert to Kathoey so that they can be employed to entertain tourists in fashion shops. I also understand that there are many opportunities such individuals are losing in society as they lack personal dignity and respect among the community. The paper has focused on a variety of perspectives on existence of Kathoey in Thailand. The writer has provided relevant evidence of people who have turned to Kathoey due to different reasons.
