It is quite realistic to expect health care workers to model mental, physical, and spiritual health. This is for the reason that like the rest of us, health care professionals are also human and experience same health problems (Thompson, 2007). Being a health worker, does not prevent an individual from experiencing some lifestyle health conditions and hence the need to model their health.
In reality, it is critical for the health workers to take care of their bodies to avoid circumstances of being overweight like most Americans. Indeed, health workers should act as role models to the rest of the population especially in matters of body health.
