Major insights gained
From the interview, I have learned that employers want employees who demonstrate dependability. To ensure this, they take note of the employees’ time management skills, level of commitment, and dressing. They also look for self-motivated employees. Although the role of every manager is to initiate ways of motivating their employees, they really seek employees who create their own motivation. Employers look for employees who do not require high level of guidance. In addition, it has come to my knowledge that employers desire to have employees with a positive attitude even during hard times. The most important attribute desired by employers in their potential employees is teamwork. I have learned that employers need people who can work freely with others, and who can motivate other employees in order to achieve the organization’s goals.
Some of the areas I need to work on in order to win my potential employer’s desires is my communication skills. I have noted that employers want people who are fluent in communicating, and who can communicate with clients in a friendly and welcoming manner. I would also like to improve on my...
