I believe that shadowing provides a great opportunity of gaining first-hand experience into the daily activities of a physician. Therefore, shadowing a doctor will provide me with clinical experience, which includes understanding the realities that take place in a hospital setting. Observing the patient/physician relationship will also give me a good experience that will enable me to learn crucial ways of interacting with patients and responding to their needs.
