The original inhabitants of the city are the Wurundjeri Aboriginal people, but the city has grown to become more diverse, with a significant number of residents having foreign ancestral backgrounds. Manningham city boasts of a wide cultural background characterized by individuals or inhabitants from different countries of origin, including China, Italy, and Greece. All the inhabitants of the city depend on a wide range of services provided by the Manningham City Council for the smooth running of their daily activities. Manningham City Council’s vision is to make the city a liveable and harmonious place to stay, work, and visit.
