Sex trafficking is a violation of human rights. Human trafficking is a serious crime. Sex trafficking involves activities like sex exploitation and sex slavery. The consent of a person cannot be relevant if it was obtained by coercion, fraud or deception. For example, a child cannot give any approval to being trafficked. A person can be coerced to offer sexual services to customers (Robert Moossy). Today, sex trafficking has been a form of modern slavery. It is very difficult to determine the number of people who have been trafficked.
