The Independent Union of All Workers was one of the successful labor unions formed in the early 1930s. The American labor movement had suffered a lot of losses following the impact of World War 1. Among the challenges that faced the formation of the movement were the political and economic power in a state of the high unemployment rate, the competition for jobs and the ethnic and gender divisions.
