Name: Instructor: Course: Date: Effects of Phone Radiations on the Unborn Children Problem statement Phone have become a part of our daily live, through which we can connect with customers, workmates and the family members. For the average American, it is really difficult to stay for a whole day without interacting with these gadgets; some people even develop some kind of condition when they are away from them for too long. To the unborn children the radiations that come from the phones can affect their health. Radiation levels of up to 5 rad are lethal to the embryos. Background In the past, there have been studies trying to find out the effects of the radiations that he mobile phone emit, as one takes or receives calls. Very few studies have been carried out on the effect that these radiation have on the embryos as the pregnant mothers use these phones on a regular basis. For all the phone manufactures they are required by the law to limit the amount of radiation that any one gadget can radiate per unit time. These levels are supposed to be observed as they reduce the effects of the radiations on the users. The embryos are much more delicate than the adults using the phones. They are therefore vulnerable to the radiation as they form vital organs. Mostly the effects of the radiations affect the behavioral patterns of the unborn child. These children are born with disorderly psychological patterns that are evident from the way they react to the stimuli in the environment. This is caused by the radiations effect on the brain development process of the embryos. Hypothesis Phone radiation impairs brain development in the unborn children. Experiment The experiment was carried out on 1000 children born in the period of five years starting, in the year 2007 to the year 2012. The samples were drawn from various cities, selected at random. Most of the pregnant mother living in the busy cities, (California, New York, Boston, Texas, Washington, Las Vegas), spent more than three hours on the phone cumulatively. Results and Discussion EMBED Excel.Chart.8 \s Of all the mothers that were involved in the research more than 80% complained that their children had behavioral disorder. These were mothers who used their mobile phones for more than three hours a day. The research revealed that using the phone for more than three times in a single day, raises the risk of having a child that is hyperactive as well as emotionally unstable. Although the effect may not be as heavily impacting as that of smoking, it falls close behind the effect of stressed mothers on the development of their unborn children, within the womb. The effect on the behavior of the children was related to the neurons development that was impaired. This eff...
