Interview Questions
Given the nature of this task, I choose to interview my spiritual authority on the subject of my discussion. To efficiently conduct the interview, we set to meet during the week at 2 pm over coffee in one of the joints around the city. The following questions were prepared in advance before the meeting:
1 What is your take on the aspect of mate selection in marriage by parents and your thought; do you believe this is a viable approach in relationships today?
2 How would you advise on the aspect of mate selection today?
3 Would you advocate for or against mate selection by parents and family members for the generation today?
4 Is there any spiritual connotation with the idea of mate selection?
5 As a spiritual leader, what would be your take between the ideologies of parents on selecting for their children mates rather than allowing their children to make their choices?
6 Do marriages built upon these foundations survive the storms of life?
7 How would you advise the young population on the selection of their marriage partners?
8 Do you believe that the rising numbers of divorces could result from the act of mate choice by parents and family members?
9 What is your role as a spiritual head in guiding successful marriages among the youths?
10 What approach did you follow in selecting your wife?
Do you recommend the ways you followed to the young population today who are in pursuit of their mates for marriages?
Part 3

I believed my interviewee would be in a better position to address this aspect, an aspect that necessitated the need for an interview. I have personally known my interviewee for close to 7 years, and he is considered as a noble man with characters and qualities that speak volumes on his spirituality. My interviewee, therefore, plays a significant role in my life, in shaping my life in matters faith.
In establishing the manner in which the interview is framed, it is important to note that the first and most crucial aspect of the process remains in building rapport with the interviewee. To meet this, the ...
