Death did not worry him thus he refused to be shaped into a person he was not. Subsequently, he was executed for failing to take the pledge of supremacy. By dying he proved to the public that Cromwell was trapping him and that he was honorable hence could not bow down to Cromwell’s demands.
2 A man of all seasons is a story that integrates various characters such as: King Henry VIII who serves as the king of England. He ensures that other characters regard him as moral hence is concerned about how more views him. He believes that he has the ability to force everyone into authenticating his desires. He puts his ethics at ease by forcing more to approve the king’s break up from Catherine. On the other hand, Thomas Cromwell is a crafty lawyer who facilitates More’s downfall CITATION Fre66 \l 1033 (Zinnemann, 1966 ). He is evil and lacks integrity. Moreover, Richard rich is character dissimilarity for Thomas. He rises to power and wealth while Thomas falls from favor. Contrary to Thomas, he fails to obey his conscience and endeavors in conquering and destroys it. While Meg, More’s daughter is well educated and inquisitive. She falls in love with William and marries him. She understands her father better than anybody else and even questions his actions.
3 More is a character with many good qualities, for instance he is religious. He contemplated of leaving his legal career and becoming a monk. Although he did not manage to become a monk, he dedicated his life to monk’s spiritual exercises such as engaging in flagellation and wearing hair shirt on his skin.
