Personality Type and Career: How does my personality affect my career and effectiveness at my job?
Introduction
While learning about personalities, my understanding of how the world works and the need to find settings and environments that coincide with one’s personality are enhanced. Many people’s initial and simplistic thought is that we can do anything we want to do. However, learning about personalities is helping me understand that we can only give our best in select settings and environments. While we may choose to ignore the suggested careers and fields, often, we struggle and end up frustrated until we find comfortable settings that invoke our best.
What did the test reveal about you?

Also, I learned that I believe in people and them being the greatest resource in driving change or trying to attain anything in life and the world.
While learning about these things, I discovered that I agree with a lot of what the test revealed. The attribute of being altruistic or somehow harboring a deep desire for positive change is something I deeply feel. I know that whichever area or field I will end up in has to be a stepping stone to do good in the world. I have always felt that the world needs people who are willing to put their lives on the line for the greater good, and I have felt the need to involve myself in activities that make the world a better place. Furthermore, the activities I will involve myself in have to be centered on people.
What can you infer from this test about your strengths and weaknesses?
One of the things that I can infer from the test regarding my strengths is that I am reliable and committed to a cause and the people I am working with. I learned that my quest to deliver on a particular promise or desire not to let people down could get the best of me, and this is something I can confirm as true (Truity, 2021). When I am convinced of a particular cause,...
