The construction sector is identified with various operations and activities focused on buildings, industrial plants and public infrastructure, where specialized technicians in the field of construction management, architecture, and engineering are critical to the success of the business the company deals building, which specifically the commercial buildings and not residential and the civil works infrastructures There are both technical and administrative employees and the companies seek to expand in Austin, Texas. The employees are trained to comply with the local laws and educated on their rights to ensure that there are no violations. The technicians are directly involved in the construction businesses, while the administrative staff members are mostly involved in the day to day rung of the business side of the company. Since the relationship between the employees and the company affects how operations are carried out, there is emphasis on maintaining a positive working environment that fosters team work. Attracting, selecting and retaining top talent is prioritized as is identifying those who can fit in the company’s culture.

A good performance evaluation of employees is essential when identifying and ranking the workers, improving their performance and achieving better results. There will be evaluation of the objectives and since they know the expectations, and the objectives are realistic, measurable and achievable depending on the employees’ responsibilities Identifying the areas to be improved is a part of the evaluation, and feedback helps to identify the weaknesses, and this makes it easier for the employees to develop their capacities. Performance evaluation is necessary to determine the individual performance and the work of employees, which helps to make decisions when assigning rewards and to optimize rewards. As such, an accurate performance evaluation process is essential to measure performance and contribution to the planned objectives. The employees do not always add value, and the performance evaluation will help distinguish the effective employees from the ineffective ones. I would conduct performance appraisal and determine whether employees have met the set objectives depending on their job description and duties assigned.
Identifying of the dimensions that are necessary to evaluate employees’ performance first requires job analysis. Evaluation by the employer and supervisor provides insights on what needs to be done to improve performance. This is important as it is necessary to consider the significant dimensions in performance appraisal, and this may affect the morale of employees will be affected, since the employees who perform well will not be rewarded or recognized (De Gieter & Hofmans, 2015). Ranking the employees then will ensure that there is clarity on what is expected of them and they perform well will be recognized and rewarded.
